Get away for the day and travel down the coast to San Diego for a historical food tasting tour in “America’s Finest City.” While this fabulous beach town has long been known for its sparkling shoreline, Spanish infused architecture, and creative spirit, more recently it is being recognized for its burgeoning cuisine scene.
This new culinary experience provides an up-close and personal look into San Diego’s food scene – classic to contemporary, fresh to fusion, inventive to vibrant. The tastings on this comprehensive 4.5 tour are equivalent to a large lunch. Along the way, we will admire the architecture and encounter several historical sites including the Gaslamp District, Liberty Station, North Park, Barrio Logan and Little Italy. We will visit six different shops and restaurants with an included tasting at each. We will savor artisan cheeses, sample gourmet olive oils, sip craft beer, try Mexican style corn called elote, taste unique Roman pizza, eat a famous fish taco, taste an incredible Mexican style hot dog, and have fantastic handmade gelato.

What better thing to do on Halloween than watch an old classic horror film? And there's no better place to take it in than at the Old Town Music Hall. You’ll take a seat in the historic theatre for an afternoon of old time entertainment including a performance on the Mighty Wurlitzer, audience sing-alongs, and a screening of one of the Hollywood’s classic horror films! But that's not all, before the show, you'll experience a taste of Southern Brazil at a popular churrascaria restaurant in Beverly Hills. Inspired by the gaucho way of grilling meats, you’ll be treated to a variety of fire-roasted meats, traditional Brazilian sides, market fresh salads and platters of bite size desserts.
