Since 1985, we have been offering new and innovative itineraries to travelers who are looking for unique, authentic experiences.  Any tour operator can sell you a tour to anywhere you want to go, but not any company would take you behind the scenes and offer you an experience you can’t get on your own.  We want to connect you to new cultures and

cuisines, fascinating people, and out of the way places. Main Street Tours is dedicated to the idea that tours should go beyond just sightseeing.  We believe that it’s all about having an experience that you will never forget and traveling from Main Street to the road less traveled.

COMPANY HISTORY
 

Founded in 1985, by Laurie Lincoln, Main Street Tours has always focused on providing quality,

affordable tours for groups throughout Southern California. Specializing in day trips and multi-day

itineraries for groups, Main Street Tours offers more than 150 different itineraries for groups of

20 or more.

In 1997, Main Street Tours expanded its product line to include receptive programs such as the

“Rose Parade Experiences” and “The Majestic Northern California Coast” for clients from

outside Southern California.

And finally, in 2017, Laurie's longtime dream of having a travel club open to everyone who wants

to travel with friends was realized when Main Street's Circle of Friends Travel Club was born.

The club has grown to more than 500 members with a full schedule of tours offered throughout

the year.

In the unlikely event of Main Street Tours’ default, you may be eligible for a refund of up to $15,000 from the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund. If you were located in California at the time of your purchase, and your purchase included air or sea transportation, you have a right to make a claim against the Fund for a refund of any money paid to Main Street Tours that is due because of Main Street Tours’ bankruptcy, insolvency, cessation of operations, or material failure to provide the transportation or travel services sold. The claim must be filed within 60 days (or in some limited circumstances, within one year) after you become aware of your loss.
