Day 1
Saturday, 7/9/2016 - Arrive Denver-Colorado Springs
Welcome to Denver! Board the motorcoach and travel to Colorado Springs for touring of the US Air Force Academy. Tonight a special Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant. Drury Inn, Colorado Springs, CO
Note: Please arrive at the Denver Airport before 1:00pm

Day 2
Sunday, 7/10/2016 - Pikes Peak Country
Start the day with a ride on the *Pike’s Peak Cog Railway to the 12,110ft summit. Visit Garden of the Gods Trading Post for lunch and some time to shop follow by sightseeing of Garden of the Gods. Return to hotel, dinner included. Overnight:  Drury Inn, Colorado Springs, CO

Day 3
Monday, 7/11/2016 - Royal Gorge to Alamosa
This morning board the Royal Gorge Route Railroad for a vintage train ride along the legendary Arkansas River. Next, travel to the historic rail town of Salida for a delicious home style lunch. This afternoon visit Great Sand Dunes National Park, then arrive in Alamosa for a one night stay. Overnight:  Holiday Inn Express, Alamosa, CO
Day 4
Tuesday, 7/12/2016 - Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railway
"All aboard" the 1880 Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad - leave Antonito and travel to Osier where you’ll disembark and enjoy lunch; then re-board your motorcoach and travel to the old west mining town of Durango, Colorado. Overnight: Best Western Rio Grande Inn, Durango, CO

Wednesday, 7/13/2016 - Mesa Verde National Park
Travel to nearby Mesa Verde National Park and visit cliff ruins of the Anasazi, known as the "Ancient Ones" to the Navajo. The Anasazi lived in the Four Corners area almost a thousand years ago, and then suddenly disappeared. Enjoy time at the Visitors Center, before a Local Expert guides you through the most famous ruin sites. The evening in Durango is at leisure. Overnight:  Best Western Rio Grande Inn, Durango, CO
Day 6
Thursday, 7/14/2016 - Durango-Silverton Train
Ride the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad through the Colorado Rockies between Durango and Silverton. Upon arrival in Silverton, enjoy some free time to explore the many shops. Travel north to Grand Junction where we see the fantastic monoliths of Colorado National Monument. Enjoy dinner this evening at the hotel. Overnight:  Doubletree, Grand Junction, CO
Day 7
Friday, 7/15/2016 - Grand Junction to Denver
Cross the Continental Divide stop at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden en route to Denver. This afternoon, check into your hotel and freshen up for tonight’s Farewell Dinner. Overnight:  Renaissance, Denver, CO
Day 8
Saturday, 7/16/2016 - Homeward bound from Denver
Say farewell to the Rocky Mountains and return home from Denver.
