You’ll have reserved seats for the best in parade viewing as you watch the beautiful pageantry of magnificent floral floats, equestrians and marching bands making their way down Colorado Boulevard on New Year’s Day.
You’ll also experience “The Glory of Christmas,” your choice of spending a day in Palm Springs or Disneyland, another day at either the Reagan Presidential Library or Universal Studios, celebrate New Year’s Eve at our private party, and spend all five nights at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.
Daily Itinerary:
Day 1
Wednesday, 12/29/2010 - WELCOME TO THE "CITY OF ANGELS" - WELCOME DINNER AND "THE GLORY OF CHRISTMAS" - Arrive today at the Los Angeles, Long Beach or Orange County Airport. Flights should arrive no later than 1:00pm. Transfers to the Hyatt Regency Long Beach are included. A welcome dinner at the hotel is planned as you settle in for a five night stay. Later, you’ll travel to the famous Crystal Cathedral where you will take your reserved seats inside the famous all glass church for a performance of "The Glory of Christmas."

Thursday, 12/30/2010 - SPEND THE DAY AT DISNEYLAND OR IN PALM SPRINGS - After breakfast, you’ll have your choice of how you want to spend the day. Included in your package is a day at the Magic Kingdom (admission included) or you can choose to spend it in the desert playground of Palm Springs. If you select the Palm Springs option, your day includes lunch and reserved seating for the afternoon performance of "The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies." Upon returning to the hotel, the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Friday, 12/31/2010 - UNIVERSAL STUDIOS TOUR or THE RONALD REAGAN PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND NEW YEAR'S EVE GALA CELEBRATION - Breakfast is again included at the hotel, and then you'll have your choice of Universal Studios admission and Tram Tour of the famous studio that is the Entertainment Capital of L.A., or the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library where you will learn about the events that shaped history during Reagan’s eight years in the White House - this tour includes admission, a self-guided tour and lunch. Later, the evening is filled with elegant dining, dancing to the sounds of a live band, and the fun and games of a live “Monte Carlo” style casino.

Saturday, 1/1/2011 - 122nd TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE AND LUNCH AT LAWRY'S IN BEVERLY HILLS - It's an early morning as you have a breakfast-on-the-go and board the motorcoach for your reserved grandstand seats for the Rose Parade, complete with your souvenir program and seat cushion. After the parade, you'll be treated to lunch at Lawry's Prime Rib restaurant in Beverly Hills. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy and take advantage of the many attractions and restaurants near the hotel.

Sunday, 1/2/2011 - POST-PARADE "SHOWCASE OF FLOATS," "LIGHTS, CAMERAS, HOLLYWOOD!" CITY TOUR, AND A SPECIAL FAREWELL DINNER AND ENTERTAINMENT - After breakfast, you'll return to Pasadena to view up close the exquisite floats on display for your enjoyment. After viewing the floats, you’ll be joined by a local guide for a fascinating tour of Tinseltown! Highlights include Graumann’s Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Tonite enjoy a Farewell Dinner at the hotel complete with entertainment.
